Daddy don't go
please stay with me
i love you daddy
cant you see

i didn't mean to hurt you
put you through the pain
but please daddy
let me explain

it wasn't my fault
I'm just a little kid
i don't know what happened
i don't know what i did

to make you hate me
and call me names
daddy cant you see
this isn't a game

you come home
scream and yell
i hide in the corner
life's hell

but please just this once
let me leave
when i say I'm sorry
believe

because i don't know
what else to do
to let you know
that i love you

daddy don't go
but please don't stay
you've hurt me enough
so ill fly away

    This poem really hits close to home. Me and my dad are always on ups and down. Sometimes I hate him the next I wonder why he doesn't call me. My poem A letter to dad kinda says some of this stuff in it. This poem was really good! Im going to add you to my favorites.
