Patience

by M J U   May 11, 2005

More time has passed
and frustration is apparent.
The anxious feeling I have
longed to rid myself of is
hanging directly overhead.
I've tried to take my heart
and mind away to a solitude,
on a journey of endless serenity.
But thoughts of you still stand
in front of me, blocking any hope
of escape, let alone rescue from
this cruel world of patience.
Oh, how I long to be rid of this
uncomfortable, nerve wracking
feeling that has lowered my being
to the fiery depths of living hell.

Great poem...as always!!! Patience is a virtue you know...even though it is quite infuriating, sometimes. Just keep being patient and you are sure to get what you want:)
