Unrequited Spring

by Lauren   May 11, 2005

My love for you is blooming
Like a lonely flower in spring
The unrequited feelings
Are beginning now to sting
Your gorgeous eyes entice me
Like a solitary tree
The leaves- they all stop falling
And I wish that you loved me
But although you do not love me
The way that I love you
I will sleep and I will breathe
The air thinking of you
And when I see a petal
On a flower start to fall
I will thing of you and me
And the sadness of it all
Walking through the forest
Of emotions inside me
I will stop and think of you
When I feel the breeze
My love for you is blooming
Like a single flower in spring
The unrequited feelings
Are beginning now to sting
