Goodbye

It’s all ok now,
I’m right by your side,
To stay here for a wile,
I know you really tried.

Who thought this would happen,
Every thing was just fine,
It all hurt me so much,
Because your heart was apart of mine.

Please try to hold on,
I don’t want to see you die,
Because if you leave,
I will do more then cry.

I will be hurt so much,
I won’t know what to do,
You mean so much to me,
No one has a clue.

I sit here by your bed,
As the doctors walk by,
He says you heart rates getting lower,
And he doesn’t know why.

He doesn’t know how long you have,
Or even how you will be,
In this state of form,
Damn I wish it was me.

So I’ll lay my head by your side,
Hoping to see you the next day,
For everything you mean to me,
I will truly say.

As you sleep upon your bed,
I sit and grab your hand,
Praying to god,
One day you will stand.

The machines are going crazy,
All the doctors start to rush in,
Now will determine,
If you or death will win.

I try to hold on,
But they pull me away,
I wish this would end,
And never see this day.

I feel you slowly let go,
That shows me a sign,
I fall to my knees,
As I hear the flat line.

I run back to you,
With a tear in my eye,
I give you a hug,
