Fade Away

by Heather   May 13, 2005

For her weaker days,
There were weaker nights.
Reasons for her to live,
Reasons for her to fight.

As the deep breaths inhale,
We wait for an exhale to resume.
We know the girl we love,
Will return to her old life soon.

Being her one,
Wanting to feel her touch.
\\\"Please don\\\'t take her away,\\\"
Is that asking for too much?

Her parents have to watch,
And deep breaths are worth the waiting.
Until the last tear falls,
Her last years are fading.

Antibiotics to ease the pain,
Pain of painful cries.
Please wait for the last breath to come,
Don\\\'t yet say your good-byes.

Please only shed a tear,
While you pray for her to live.
To have her out of the I.C.U,
Is the best present God can give.

And if these last minutes just fade away,
Please remeber her name.
Kendal Marie Hurley-Ricks,
Who thought life was just a game.

And to the man that did this to her,
May her burn in hell after he dies.
That he was the last one to see her face,
Before those last sorrowful cries.

May her soul rest in peace,
Let love and let forgive.
That life is not just a game,
But only a chance to live.

To one of my best friends Kendal, may i pray for her to get better, i also pray for her mom and dad and little sisters. I know she can make it through this and i will be behind her every step of the way, cuzz she know i got her back, each and everyday.

I Love U Kendal, u can get through this! Of course it\\\'s going to haunt you but remember clarissa and ashley and i are alway going to be there for you, we love the hell out of you, please get better and peace!
