Life's not as easy
As black and white

It's all in their sight
There are shades of gray...

And shades of red
Dark ruby
Pearly crimson
A sight to see
The colors within

Mixed together
They blur and leave
Stain my life
My world; my sleeve
How, without my knife?

They form the brown
That is me
The murky unknown;
What everyone sees
But looks down on
