Freedom

by Christina Gomes   May 14, 2005

Freedom to speak
And say what we want
Without all these rumors
Taunting..they haunt

Freedom of space
Freedom of liberty
The rights we deserve
Yet these rights we don't see

Freedom of equality
Men, women, black, white, blue
Where I can be me
And you can be you

Freedom to think
To wish and to dream
To hope for to live for
Right down to every seam

Freedom to be free
To live life on our own
Freedom to be who we want
And make it alone

~*I know it's not the greatest...but please tell me what you think*~

Wow Christina, that poem was great. I gave it a 5. It reminded me of all the stuff we talk about in Humanities, and even the stuff we don't. Its different from all you other poems, a different topic and thats cool. Great job!
