Why Me?

How could this happen
To someone like me
After all of the things
I said it would be

Just to hear the words
“I love you” in my ear
Means so much to me
To my eye it just brings a tear

How?
Why?
You and me
Could it be?

I might not say it enough
But in my mind
There are no words to explain
The way I feel when we are apart

What is so different
Between the other girls and I
Was it because
I was willing to try?

There is one question though
Wandering in my mind
Is this love or lust
Hoping it’s not hard to find

I think I know the answer
Or at least I hope I do
It is love to me
How about you?

I just can’t believe
Something so special happened to me
When you walked into my life
I finally started to see

Not to scare you or anything
But I hope we grow old together
I can see us getting married
And being there forever

To me you mean a lot
Without you by my side
Baby
I would have just died

I know love is a strong word
But that is what I mean
Being held in you arms
Can make me say I have seen

You made me open up to you
I don’t really know how
It doesn’t matter to me
Because that was then and this is now

I love the way you talk to me
Knowing the perfect things to say
If I ever get upset
I know you will be there all the way

You know the saying
You hands are supposed to fit
Well babe, it fits perfect
Bit by bit

I could go on all day
But I have nothing more to say
I hope that you do
See that I really and truly
Love you!

“Don’t just try to find someone you could live with in life…
Find someone that you cant live without!”

    Wow, Amazing Job. I loved it, I really really did. However I do have some advice.

    The last line doesn't really flow, try this perhaps,
