Colours of my heart

by Christopher Liau   May 16, 2005

My happiness is the sweetest blue,
For I'm only happy when I'm with you.
Gaze at the sky, dive in the sea,
Happiness this brings to me.

My love for you is white and pure,
Everyday I love you more.
Feel your caress, your softest kiss,
When away I sorely miss.

My passion is the deepest red,
Lusting for you in my bed.
Gaze upon this beauty divine,
Entwined together, we are defined.

My envy is a green so sick,
I see you flirt, have I been tricked?
Turn away, shame must be missed,
Obsession is what I hold for this.

My anger black, obliged to mourn,
Devastation, I rip, I'm torn.
My pain is shown through display of fist,
Then disappears like raging mist.

All colours come together true,
Insight is my gift to you.
Swirl together, these colours combine,
To share with you this heart of mine.

I'm not describing "love" its more about the different sides to my personality, and to give the person i love insight to what makes me tick

Very creative. I truly loved this piece. Though I'm confused as to why you used green and black when describing love...however, I understand love is not always pink and red...lol I loved the creativity and your wording is divine...truly an excellent write!! :)
