Left Alone

This red rose is fading
The crimson changing to black
The heart of it gave out
When it fell under brutal attack

With you there is no forever
I should have known it
Somehow, You were so clever
And hid it well

I remember every word
How easily I believed
Every lying whisper
Now seems so absurd

I am left alone
The future looms ahead
It’s left unknown
No matter what was said

I know y'all are probably like how do you go from a rose to whatever you call the end. I just started writing, this is what I got. It's sort of a work in progress. ~Rate/Comment please
