On My Grave

by Victoria   May 17, 2005

In memory of a girl that once resided here
But now she seems to have disappeared
From a little girl she learned her lessons well
So naïve she was never realizing she had come down to hell
So many mountains she had to climb
But everything from her little eyes looked fine
She enjoyed the adventure of what live could bring
The little girl cherished the earth and every living thing
But as she grew older she realized earth was not as good as she thought
Nothing in life was clearly taught
She started to see things that just were not there
No one would believe her life did not seem fair
As she moved on she had to leave her friends behind
Things became less clear in her mind
The more she grew the wiser she became
The things she could see would not be kept in shame
So she admitted her path in life and that one day she would walk it
But knowing what is to become is not an easy thing to admit
So on she went to start saving the souls that had strayed
Helping anyone who lives were frayed
Deep down the girl did not know what to believe
But she could never say no to a person who was finding it hard to grieve
But one night the doubts took over her mind
The lights went out for her, her soul no one would find
Before her life had begun the darkness found her
It dragged her down into a blur
She became one of the lost and found
No one could hear her screams as in limbo there is no sound
Angels this is one soul you never saved
This is what is now on my grave

*Sorry its a bit morbid, thanks for reading
