Lonesome

A lonesome soul searching for his better half everyday.
He looks in all the wrong places and doesn’t know what to say.
Days are dark and nights are eternity without her love.
Wondering if he will be alone until he ends up above.

Love is all that he wishes to feel, wanting to forget pain.
The sorrow he’s lived in his younger years has left a stain.
Tears flow down the pale skin as his mind begins to think.
But as weeks pass by spent alone his heart seems to sink.

Once he felt the joy of being with another for awhile.
But love failed and sorrow seems to be the new style.
How long must his life be spent alone with his heart torn?
All’s he wishes is to feel loved so that he can be reborn.

    Another really great poem. I totally understand how you feel. Just don't give up. Believe that everything is happening for a reason and it will soon lead you down the right path. Keep it up and take care.

    oh man! wow! i can relate to that.. im a girl but still.. lol! wow im looking forward to reading more of your poems.. ive been writing for a bout 2 years also and its the only way to release my thoughts without attempting suicide. ya know!? keep in touch!
