Silence Of The Earth

Silence reigns around me.
I hear not a sound
I see not a face
I see not a light.

Darkness surrounds me.
I see not a sign of hope
I see not a way to freedom
I see not my way out.

Questions fill my head.
Why am I here?
What happened to me?
The answers remain unheard.

Unable to move,
Unable to escape,
I try to scream,
But only the silence of the earth answers.

My screams unheard,
The silence frightens me.
"Please, make someone hear me."
"Please, make someone pull me out."

I scream from the depth of my tomb
Yet, no answer comes in return.
