Happy fathers day

How could you choose her over me
remember how things used to be
when it was no one but me and you
camping and fishing, as father and son do
yes I know I said I wanted a mom
but you got the wrong one, you got a bomb
a bomb that destroyed what flesh and blood made
the bond that lasted until I hit second grade
and as I got older and the truth came out
her kids only, what she was about
I was the one that didn't belong
I was here first, I think somethings wrong
you kicked me out when I was fourteen
I was blamed, the truth went unseen
it wasn't just me her kids were bad too
but you didn't listen you didn't pursue
I don't know how you could be so blind
now that we're screwed you wish to rewind
but its too late, whats done is done
no more of the old days, the innocent fun

    wow that was such a touching poem i liked it alot i think over 95% of american children are left with out a dad and/or gone through the same exact thing .... your poems are excellent!!!!

    This is really good... Sounds like it took a lot out of you to write this... Dont blame your father, It takes to much engery, be strong remember who you are, and remember he has nothing to do with who you've become... I know... Cuz Ive been put through the same thing...
