From day to day

I'm holding on for each new day,
then I slowly start to fade away,
I pull myself up onto the ledge,
then slipping back right to the edge,

I keep on going very strong,
then start to feel I don't belong,
I try my hardest not to frown,
then suddenly i begin to drown,

I feel happy and on top of it all,
then I slowly start to fall and fall,
Feel so happy and very loved,
then I just feel pushed and shoved,

I stand on my feet and give a smile,
then fall back down just for a while,
I'm trying hard I really am to stay,
very happy for each new day!
