F---ed-up Love

*Unsure of where to locate this poem...*

I’m leaving sometime, this you know,
But can you tell I don’t want to go?
At times I feel, if I have to leave you,
My heart will break in much more than two,

But still, I wonder if we’ll always be friends,
Or if I made our friendship end,
‘Cause I can see we’re drifting apart,
And slowly inside, I’m leaving your heart,

But to erase the pain, I’d often say,
“At least I can see him every day.”
But what about now? What will I do?
I know deep inside I can’t live without you,

And I wish you could love me like before,
But it would only make me hurt more,
So in a way, I suppose I should be happy,
Knowing when I leave, that you won’t miss me.

I often ask myself, at the eve of my departure, would you shed a tear at the loss of me, or rejoice in my up-coming absence?

I'm so sorry you feel the same way as me. I wish I could take your pain away, but I'm dying from my own. All I can say, is just try to be strong.
