The Same

by The Flame Within   May 25, 2005

Is there a reason why i am classified as a skater/punker

or why just because you wear to much black, your goth

or if your too white, then your part of KKK

why do put everyone in a group

is there a reason why this person who wears a cross, cant walk with this person who wears a skull

is there a reason why the people who try to get good grades, who don't have the best clothes, cant walk with the most popular people who have all the cars, and all the money

why is it that we separate everyone, and put them in different groups

is there really a need to make a judgment on some one like that

"Oh, don't talk to him, i heard he listens to rock"

do they know that that same person loves classical music

no, because they are stereotypical

but some people try to break threw this barrier

and get hurt because people don like it when they try to hang out with "the wrong crowd"

i will be who i want when i want when i want

don't put me in a group like I'm just another mindless animal

there is more to me then the way i dress, the way i talk, act, what i listen to, who i walk with

so when you see someone who you think is different from you, think again

because when it comes down to it, we are all the same

No, lol, you're definitely charming. I can relate with the pressure stuff. But we're both getting older, the pressure is increasing. I'm just scared that it'll be so screwed up when I'm 16. SO there's another reason why I admire you-you keep a level head under pressure. I can tell that that'll get you far.

Just keep writing, and I'll try to keep in touch. It's extremely difficult because my parents have locked down every computer in my house so that I can't get through them. I have to go places to use a computer, but I don't have so many friends. BUT try to write more poems! I miss reading them!!! I really do!

    Ttms!!! Love you Lots!

True hun. I love you lots, I've read 7 of your previous poems, but I couldn't comment. Just know that I love you more than you know! Stay strong, and don't worry about what other people have to say. In a few years, you won't know ANYONE of them. Just hang tight to the true friends and you'll be alright. Keep an open mind, also. Don't be so quick to critisize or stereotype. I noticed that in your last poems. Maybe other's are doing that to you, but you've got to be better than them. I admire you soo much for not being like those womanizing jerks, and I'm sure women everywhere really do appreciate it whether or not they admit it. So thank you for everything you've done for me. I'm doing fine I guess. I haven't done anything stupid, and I still think of you often. I hope you never forget me.

Keep believing in love. It's one of those things that make you so unique and charming. It's very appealing. :-D. Love you lots!
