Shattered Pieces Of Me

Tears stream down my lonely face
The reasons why I cannot trace.
All to you my pain I have shown
The real me all together you have never known.
Tears stream down from my big blue eyes
This pain I can no longer disguise.
The person you think that I should be
Will never be the real me.
Tears stream down to the floor
Wondering why my heart’s so tore.
I’m not perfect, that’s a fact
But please don’t judge me by the way I act.
Tears stream from the floor to the ground
Asking myself why you want me around.
But from these tears I cannot hide
Until my pain I’ve shown subsides.
