Freshmen

Changes are all around me
everywhere I go, and everything I see
guys thinking they have to be tuff
girls saying they're not pretty enough
doing things you never thought you would
saying things you never thought you should
talking to certain people just to be "cool"
acting so big while you walk through the school
some kids only caring about their looks
which usually are the ones not caring about their books
during the few months that we all call summer vacation
is when we all change our whole reputation
some get better some get worse
some feel as if they have a deadly curse
nobody can ever change that way
the way that we have learned everyday
so try to go though the next four years
the way you know best
but also remember not to get caught up in the drama with all the rest.
