Lies

Funny how easily the lies flow,
Almost as easily as the blood from my wrists.
Yet you still believe me to be fine,
Too bad you don't know me at all.
You say you understand me,
How that makes me laugh inside,
After all if you did how could you not see my pain?
Or am i that good an actress?

Don't you see that my arms are always coverd?
That it's never any other way?
Or is that just another thing you understand but cannot see?

Surprising that when you found out you did nothing.
you said it was just a phase.
But that's where your mistaken,
To me it's just another part of my life.
I'm sorry if that upsets you,
It's just the way i am.

I'm sorry if i am the one thing in your life that's not perfect,
But unlike you i can't pretend.
I can't live a meaningless lie, pretending all the time to be happy.
After all that's why i started to cut,
to bleed away the lies.
