Perfect World

by Tiffany   May 28, 2005

In a perfect world,
No one would ever feel the pain.
This aching pain from love,
That makes us go insane.

Mistakes would be forgiven,
There would be nothing to regret.
And if you made a wrong decision,
Then the world would just froget.

Everyone would always be happy,
No one would shed a tear.
You would always have that someone,
To take away your greatest fear.

All sickness would be cured,
Everyone would die peacefully in their bed.
There would be an end to all starvation,
All the poor would be fed.

If ever you were angry,
Suicide would never cross your mind.
You'd move forward with your day,
And put your sorrows all behind.

Divorce would never happen,
Families would be together every night.
No child would be scarred,
From hearing their parents angrily fight.

But there's no such thing as a perfect world,
Only in our dreams.
But if we work together,
We can make it less imperfect as it seems
