Life is a Ribbon

by Ð맆îñ¥   May 30, 2005

Life is a ribbon
Passed to the next in line
Those brief moments cherished
Before you leave its touch

Everyone knows when time takes a turn
When its texture irritates
Your eyes now filmed
You’ve held on too long

Some pressured to pass it on too fast
Throw away the joy they could have had
Some know its touch too well
And advise those still waiting
