A piece of me is dead

by Timothy   May 31, 2005

A piece of me is dead,
In a rotten, swamp-like abyss;
The stagnant emptiness permeates,
Like a long-decayed corpse's kiss.

A piece of me is dead,
In a hollow, world-wide graveyard;
The loneliness paramounts,
Like the arsenal-stricken vanguard.

A piece of me is dead,
In a once lively corner of my heart;
The reality pursues,
Like the inescapable memories of the past, tearing me apart.

    I think this poem is so sad, I feel the agony your heart is in. Trust in God, what ever he brings you to- he will bring you through.....you are a wonderfully talented writer, and i enjoy all your work, I only hope that there will be joyous works from you soon, as your burden lifts........always in my prayers, Love ya becky
