X Our sinking hearts x

by A Metaphorical Beauty   Jun 8, 2005

Every eye that day,
Marveled at her beauty,
No one had a bad word to say,
Praising her mid-duty

Up she stood brave and tall,
Awaiting no obstacle or disaster,
She was stable, she wouldn’t fall,
So they forced her to go faster and faster,

Her stream lined ways,
Crossed oceans blue,
Until collisions cause a haze,
And left them without a clue

She’s broken now
There’s no going back
This happened how
And what did she lack

Can u hear them cry?
Feel their hearts brake
Their lives pass them by
Their world continues to shake

For some it’s the end
They can’t ever be free
Their hearts wont ever mend
Tell me what u see

When they left their homeland
They didn’t expect to say
Their lives would never stand
When comes the end of day?

So many just loves vanish
So many friends were dead
Why did our God just punish
What had we not said
‘
So far in the Atlantic sea
Lies grief sadness and pain
But people pray that hopefully
Titanic will live once again
