The Dream

by Colege Dropout   Jun 9, 2005

This is a dream I had of you and me
A few nights ago, how i wish it could be real.
I was out walking on the street
We met and we were friends so we stopped to greet.
I asked how you'd been,
you said OK but all day you hadn't eaten and you were abit tired
So I suggested, made a nice offer too
That you could come over and I'd cook for you
Then I said that after that we could just sleep.
We both laughed crazily.

In a flash forward I was home at the kitchen counter
Working up a meal I hoped would thrill you
We were just talking, doing stuff, nothing special
Until fate brought us closer
Our eyes met and in seconds our lips were locked
in a kiss of delirious passion
You see we'd both liked each other
but neither of us knew this of the other
One thing led to another and soon we were all over the furniture
Its funny, you were the one hungry but that day i was been fed
With fruit though forbidden was tasteful and more desirous than anything else
I thanked you with every reward i could spend
Then i woke up sinking in a river of sweat.
