Still Waiting

by Ð맆îñ¥   Jun 9, 2005

Which way shall this wind take me?
Oh, what wonders I’ll see
Swishing about in its current
Will you be waiting for me?

I’ve placed my footprints on moonstone
I’ve noted which way the winds blown
I find myself following the Northly
Before it is overthrown

I’m an ever-changing colour which
Has burnt a whole through my heart
I’m still waiting for them matching
To be fixed with its poison dart

I am always waiting for you to come to me
The miracle shall happen, the day that you love me
I know the truth is out there, just around the corner
I’ll place my hands beside you; I’m no longer a mourner

Love conquers all and I’m down on my knees
Take me one day, please take me, please
For while my feet walk for another long mile
My heart’s in smithereens and thrown as a pile

I need your kindly words and those long dreamy stares
Love must be taken by one who dares
And I defy the current which brings me today
If you’d only wait for me, leading me astray
