I Guess I Was Wrong

Is life really so black and white?
Are there no shapes, just lines?
I guess it's just funny for me to see,
I thought things would be better.

Why isn't there a grey part now?
How come circles don't exist?
I guess it's just stupid of me too,
I thought things would be different.

Where are all the colors here?
When does it all make sense?
I guess it's just the way it works,
no one ever prepared me for this.
