Good-Bye

I can't help but wonder
If you ever cared for me
You seemed so sweet and kind
I never thought you'd leave
First you stabbed me in the back
Then you put it through my heart
Now I'm forced to let go of you
And it's tearing me apart
What is there to do
When you watch your hero fall
Fall away from all they were
Find out you don't know them at all
You just want to hug them
And make everything OK
But inside you hurt too much
And you know it won't be that way
All you can do is let go
And try hard not to cry
There's no other option
But to move on and say good-bye

    It is always so painful when someone who you think is so close to you turns and stabs you in the back. The wounds always take so long to heal. You captured all the feelings and emotions well in this write, well done.
