Faking It

I'm so confused about everything in life
And I feel like resorting to the knife
But I know I got to stop doing that
It does not help anything, that is a fact
I do not know what to do anymore
And I do not know what I am living for
I can not understand my life at all
No one seems to care enough to break down this wall
No one is ever satisfied with anything I do
And there is this someone that lies to me so much I do not know whats true
I am sick of having to hide the way I feel
I am sick of putting on a smile that is not real
I just wish that everybody could see
That the words never come easily to me
If only people knew that when I saw "I'm alright"
It means I have been crying all through the night
