Everything That Happened

I'm going to tell you a story
Of everything that happened with me and this one guy
I'm not going to leave any details out
And I'm most certainly on this topic not going to be shy

It all started
As a kind of blind date
After that we started “talking”
And it was to late

We talked on the phone
We hung out on weekends
We were soon on our way
To becoming more then friends

You told me you maybe
Wanted to try and officially go “out “
You said whenever you saw me
Your body got cold shivering chills throughout

I guess you could say things started off
Pretty darn great mean your were this amazing guy
In which I got to date

We had great times
And laughter filled with love
We had no ones blessings to be together
Except the great man up above

I knew me and you were perfect
We didn’t have to pretend
You were an amazing person
And so much more then a friend

But one day I let my feelings
Get to out of hand
It is such a complicated story
I feel you may not understand

You told me you loved me
For some reason became scared
And I did the one thing
I never thought I would have dared

I told him it was over
I let go of it all
And I told him to leave me alone
And no more call

He listened
But only for the first day
And I didn’t answer the phone when he did call
Scared of what he might say

But I let my voicemail get it thinking everything would soon be alright
Never would I expect
The message I would get that night

See you said without me
You had no reason to go on
So you told me you were sorry
And with the sound of a gun shot you were gone
