DONT FORGET THE WOMEN

by The Flame Within   Jun 12, 2005

When did a women become another picture to stare at
when did the perfect girl become the one with out the fat

don't laugh, its not funny, because that is really true
if your a guy this is going out to you

I'm not gay, and i don't have to be to understand a girls pain
women and men are not so different, we're almost the same

when did a girl become just something to use
have fun with them, but when they get you mad you give them a bruise

when was a girl an object that can be passed on like a drink
women have hearts, try to look at that for once, just think

they ones who have our babies, the ones who make our food, who clean up, who fed us when we were young, who got angry when another child picked on us

the women in this world deserve more then what we give
they shouldn't have to be scared, thats not how they should live

be smart men, show the respect women deserve
because acting like that is just absurd

*dedicated to foxyblondfemme read her poem Disrespect, it inspired this*

Wow nick this is really good. IT is great, like others said, when people take a stand for what is right, and what they believe in. Keep it up. And i'm sure your not gay, you just have respect for women. That is great to hear.
