Silver Tapestry

by Eden   Jun 12, 2005

Come to dine on this silver net
A place to behold the sweetest threat
Come to be the angel of fakeness
To devour the pitiful fowl.

Things are waiting in the corner
Money costs more to catch a mourner
Upon this silver tapestry
A dead body glowering over all

Claws are clicking on the floor
Demons watch your lips
Sinking lower toward your feet
And closer to your frightened core.

Preen the hair from your cold head
Thoughts arrive to your limbs of lead
To break the silence is to beckon your fall
Hearing eternity's quite noxious call.

In this glade of Never ending,
Money to pay...just keep on spending.
This is earth here as I know it
Even though humanity wishes not to show it.

Curl your tongue up like a snake
To strike out at a metal rake
To try and catch the breeze who's calling...
...Calling to take you home.

So hang here on my silver drape
Feel the coarseness of my velvet cape
Feel the sunlight drown your soul
And remain here...with me; a darkened coal.
