About To Snap

Walking through the cold winter rain
A thousand thoughts lingering in my brain
Why would you treat me like this?
Do you even care for our past friendship bliss?

Once I would have sat and cried,
And to everyone our fight I would have denied,
But I can’t take the b**ching and backstabbing,
And forever being the one apologizing.

For once it can be you to make a move,
To maybe defend and to me your friendship prove,
Or maybe you will abandon me and forget,
Move on with not a single regret.

Either way I can’t take this crap anymore,
I’m not the same, not like before,
Even though I wont abuse you yet,
My string will snap if I hear one more threat.

I’m beginning to find you completely pathetic,
Maybe you can’t help it, it could be genetic,
But some things you have to let go,
Be it your best friend or worst foe.

So these are thoughts from inside my head,
Don’t be angry, take it as positive criticism instead,
And for the next friend you decided to assault,
Remember to listen to your enemies, they tell you your faults.
