My Special Friend:

by Jamie Ryanne   Jun 15, 2005

Jamie is the best little girl
Watch her twinkle watch her twirl
She hides a secret
A secret she's kept
Hidden inside her sparkling chest
Ask her what's wrong
She won’t respond
Tell her it’s ok
Shell say go away
See Jamie has a problem
You can see it in her eyes
The way she looks at the blue blue sky
She needs your help
She needs your love
But most of all
She needs a friend
She may seem special
She may seem bright
But friendship is the one thing that’s not right
She wants your hand
She wants your ear
She needs your shoulder to catch her tear
She wants to talk to you
But she doesn’t know how
For all she has is a friend she's found
Discarded in a drawer in daddy's garage
In a lonely box now it hides away
Until she decides she needs it once more
Her precious skin for it once has tore
She wants the help
She wants the support
So take away her friend once more
