Afraid to sleep, because when i wake up i weep

your in my dreams and it hurts me when your not here
my mind holds your image in fear

fear that it might go away, afraid that it might not stay

afraid to dream, for the dreams are of you,
when we use to be, when i gave you my heart , i did so free

but, its over, and you still have my heart
you finished what i tried so hard to start

but, don't worry, ill be OK, just don't watch me well i cry, please look away

I'm fine really, my heart is broken, and tears flood my face
i miss you, i feel empty in this place

but, I'm OK, don't worry, it will pass
i just wished that time went fast

but don't worry, ill be fine, I'm OK
stop looking at me, listen to what i say
please, don't watch my heart, look away

it will piece itself together, and heal with a scar
but don't worry I'm OK, but that truth seems so far

so ill keep my eyes open, and try not to sleep
because when i wake up without you, is when i weep

    Babe, I'm so sorry about Jami. I know she genuinly loves you. I don't know why she broke up with you, but I know she still misses you. I'm soooo sorry that you're hurt by this, as it's natural to be, but don't let it get to you so much. She's just a girl. And girls will come and go, as you've probably heard, your entire life. You'll find your dream girl someday, and she'll find her dream boy. I know this probalby isn't what you expect to hear, but as I friend, I am obligated to tell you the truth, and not what you want to hear.

    From what I understand, she's a FANTASTIC person. She's funny, compassionate, and even pretty understanding, but in fairness to her, it would kill her to know she had hurt you. Please, baby, don't let it hurt you so much!!! It really does hurt me when you're hurt, I swear! and right now, I'm shaking purely because I'm worried for you. The poem nearly tore my heart in two. But hold strong, that's the only way you'll get through this!! I love you so much!
