FireWall

A Firewall

A firewall building itself from a flame
With everything tore down and only one to blame
Depression and hate as the gas
Just taking it , letting the time pass
As the flame quietly got stronger
Till She couldn't take it any longer
She turned around and opened her eyes
Only to see what became of her lies
The ones she told everyday
The ones that told everyone that she was okay
She had no idea how it had grown
Then she realized that she was alone
She had this fire and none to help her put it out
She saw no other route
She let the fire take her in
She knew what has been
She went to church everyday
Paid attention and every night she would pray
She knew this was wrong
But she couldn't hold on this long
She was getting weak and couldn't take life
She knew she would go to hell but it was an escape from this strife
So she picked up the knife and watched the blood
As her life washed away like a flood
