Below Earth

Welcome to this world of mine
Where screwed up nutters act divine
And lame old jokes echo yet
Keep on telling, we can’t forget
Take my hand I’ll take you round
Don’t get light-headed; keep your feet on the ground
Keep your eyes open don’t miss a thing
Keep on the lookout for the darker king
Welcome to this world called Hell
Leave your name at the door; wish your friends farewell
All the ink is red and all the blood is blue
Stand before this mirror; I’m sure they’ll let you through
Cracked glass on the floor so watch your feet
The fire burns forever but don’t mind the heat
I’m sure you’ll get thirsty but there’s no water here
But if you get hungry just swallow your fear
I’ve been here for years and I’m moving up higher
As time goes by you grow used to the fire
And as you sign, there on the dotted line
The contract is final and you cannot decline
The mirror is transparent, a window to the world
But stay away from it or through it you’ll be hurled
Strange magics and acids and such
But just stay away now I have you in my clutch.
