Her breath

by Broken Angel   Jun 18, 2005

She Inhales,
Pearl Necklaces, Diamond rings.
Shes dressed to impress everyone in the room.
Eye shadows and red lipsticks.
Maybe if she wears enough makeup her fakeness wont show.
She curls her blonde hair to look just right.
And the whole time this is going on she's in a constant fight.
Hair-spray those curls to keep them perfect.
Her blue eyes fight back the tears that want to fall.
She's like a glass... if you drop her to hard she will shatter.
She walks downstairs to clean up the mess from the night before, She hides one more bruise he's left on her.
She gets into her car and turns the ignition. One tear rolls from the corner of her eye, as she drives to work without looking back
She exhales as her heart shatters
