I am... the vampire

by DarkLore   Jun 19, 2005

I am...
Is it me?
Faint light perchance...
Fading indescribably into intensity of realization

Darkness broods like a turbulent turismo of shade effect
Treading so fast it's quagmire of hate
My head drifting beneath the waves of my shame
Lungs in hewed with agonizing fear as my eyes hone black

Venturing to crimson light in heavens, my ever lasting breath
Sinking back to my eventual doom in death
Inevitable and ironical, tyrannical form
Despicable poison sucks my very humanity, gone
Wasting to naught, stripped of all but true sight

Crush my hands to gain a different pain
Spare my brain for a simple gain
To be free from my sires endless game
Sanity wears so thin, my name
Yet transverse I do full knowing
True horror of my atrocities, in my mind still flowing

The cries of of a thousand souls
The extinguishing of dreams
Savoring the suffering in subverted subterfuges of screams
Innocence eradicated and bestial greed upheld
Phantasms of mind and spell
Cling to my spirit here to dwell
The monster, the predator, my hell
I am... the vampire
