Despair and Purpose

by DarkLore   Apr 28, 2006

Set me free
Within your arms
Let me breath in the sweet embrace
See a life be born anew from strife
Reach and touch the face of pain
Entwine with this tortured soul again
Bask in the resembling sound
The crescendo wave of ignorance
Batters me down
Drink deeply from the well of insecurity
Sink deliciously and treacherously as thee half drowns
Clutching to the wreckage of fading notion of trust
Betrayal whips and memory calls
Heart falls when hope is obscured
Fate is kind as it takes the last away
The gift of perfect clarity

That there really is no point

No more reasons to live...

But take life not oneself
Give your life to others
Then in the final irony
There is purpose
