The letter

by DarkLore   Nov 29, 2006

She lays and stares
Not a whisper of the pain she bares
Only subtlety fortells in the tears yet to cry
The faint tremble creshendo\'s in her fragile guise

Ghost induced becomes of her predicament alas
This poor forsaken lass
Her gaze aligns to the tattered letter sent
And the painful truth it ment

Thoughts evade to all but the sound of silence
Broken by the shattering reality instinctively
Shiver shudder lifeless dread
Naught but an empty heart instead

How could it manifest that it should be
Yet again one hope simply is to see-
But a pain induced disappointment
A chance to be betrayed

Again a last caress, another confessed
No love, no care, more or less
Another insincerity notion
A trick of physicality subterfuged by emotion

Heart is closed now to believe
That true loves kiss would set her free
As she seeks and end to the pain
Slain from the cruetly and destain

Red rivulets intertwine and flow
Beauty in the warm sweet glow
Life passing and pain subside
A last goodbye as she says inside

No love for me...
