What happened to the good times
When you loved me and I loved you
They seem so long ago
Though it was less then a year

Times were hard
We didn't talk
My feelings were marred
I didn't know how I felt
I thought I'd moved on

But then after a few months
I saw you again
You looked into my eyes
As I scanned your face
I realized I wasn't over you

We were forced closer
After you had dated someone I thought was my friend
I opened up to you and told you how i felt
You told me you didn't have those feelings anymore
You wanted to see where it was going with her
She said she still had feelings for you

You gave her another chance
I think we can all guess how that ended
She cheated and left you once again brokenhearted
It killed me to see you so down
What made it worse was i was powerless
I couldn't make you happy anymore

I remember once you told me
That I might have a chance
In the future your feelings might change
But you don't know how long it will take

Our friendship is strong once again

The good times are coming back
