Power Trip

by AsTheCrowFlies   Nov 13, 2005

Take a glance at the hand you used to hold
On the wrist scars show bold
My head is spinning as I slide down the wall
Just in time I look up and see you down the hall
As you touch her hair and look into her eyes
I flinch as a part of me dies
I trace the lines on my wrist
As my eyes begin to mist
You look up at me
And smile sweet as can be
You know I'm watching you
As you slowly kiss her too
Quickly I shut my eyes
But you were too wise
The image is already burned into my mind
My mind and heart are in your bind
You know you have the power
To make me cower
And tonight when I go home
The blood from my wrist will foam
