The final snowflake

by olivia   Jun 21, 2005

You were on the dance floor whizzing away,
well so u should have been it was Ur sixth birthday,
but then u suddenly dropped,
no one could understand.
so i rushed over and grabbed your hand,
i phoned for an ambulance and when they came,
you couldn't stand up let alone remember Ur name.
you got to the hospital in the blink of an eye,
you Were so brave u dint even cry,
when we saw the doctor he took some tests,
and left you to have a little rest.
the doctor came back and sed I'm very sorry,
he said u had a tumor on the side of Ur brain,
theres nu thin we can do but ease the pain.
i gave u a hug and wept in Ur ear,
don't worry darling mummy is here.
i could tell u were scared but u acted so brave,
i then phoned the family and my husband Dave.
a week later you came home,
but u couldn't do most things on Ur own.
as weeks slipped by so did Ur health,
i was loosing my baby
i thought to my self.
and on that fateful day when you went 2 heaven,
it was Ur birthday u would av bin seven.
and on Christmas morning when u should av been awake,
ill remember your birthday like the final snowflake.
