Let it be me

Let me stand over your grave on a rainy day and shed tears
Let me come to an empty bed and ask god for peace
Let me be in a house that was filled with your smell and smile
Let me long for your touch and hunger for your kiss
Let me lust for your voice and yearn for my end
Let me feel loneliness and morn your loss
Let me live without you so you will not have to live without me
