Warn Me Later

by Ð맆îñ¥   Jun 22, 2005

I have heard your sorry tales
Of a thousand yesterdays
When you break my heart
With your thoughtless masquerade

When you plague me with this darkness
Yet on my head place a silver crown
And always hear your words
And I keep looking round

I don’t listen to my head
I’m misled by my heart
I don’t understand
I’m splitting myself in half

Warn me later of the fool I have been
Tell me later of the things you have seen
Warn me later of the man that I love
The one I thought was a gift from above

Warn me later of the mess I am in
Tell me another time
Don’t take away my illusions
At least my illusion is mine
