Never Again

by Eden   Jun 22, 2005

Bled for love...to bleed and die.
My soul cannot survive once to cry.
So to my soul I breathe the Dark...
...And once again make betrayal stark.
In my mind I feel I've died.
More than anything...the cures I've tried.
But then again I see you face
Remember the forbidden toxicity of your embrace.
So here I type away my pain...
...And think not of how I drank from your vein.
To hear my whispering cries of secrecy...
...My pain is not one of mediocrity.
So here I sit and there I will weep...
...Where the past away I'll sweep.
So here I lay again tonight...
...With my boyfriend...not you...this night.
Farewell.
...Never Again.

this is such a good poem, so deep and fluent. you really do have a way with words, all you poems are so natural and pure. i think you may be my favourite poet on the whole site, apart from me of course (only kiddin). i hope you get the time to write loads more soon. and i really love this poem, i am going to go and read it again. :D
