Darkness

Thruogh the darkness
no light shows threw
try to make it day by day
try to be good enough
but never am
try so hard at anything
and it never works
let downs all the time
this is my darkness
it is myself as I am
expecting to much
but how can I not
if the darkness fades
then what is left
slight happiness
but fear to get hurt
show a smile
hides me in the dark
the darkness is me
me as I am
