In the dark alone I sit

by Jennifer RIP Lesthat Hayden   Jun 29, 2005

In the dark alone I sit,
with nothing but a candle lit.
I look upon the scar the bite,
Which I received the previous night.
I did not scream I did not fight.
I wanted to be one of them.
Ever since I looked at him.
Such bright eyes,
and such light skin.
He acted so Cooley.
He was so calm.
Didn't care of right or wrong.
"A moment of pane for eternal life
as long as you stay away from light.
You don't need food.
You don't need drinks.
Just drink the blood of living beings."
Is what he said to me.
I felt the pain and saw the blood.
The beat of my heart, I heard every thug.
My heart beat fast and so did his.
All because this simple kiss.
I watched the flame in front of me.
Dancing on the wick.
I feel the hunger rise in me,
a victim I must pick.
