The rain had been falling

The rain had been falling,
soaking her clothes,
mascara running down her cheeks,
her favorite time of all,
because no one could see the tears she cried.

Her boyfriend had broke her heart,
into a million pieces,
she couldn't see why,
it had to end this way.

She couldn't run inside,
to tell mommy of what had happened,
for she knew daddy was home,
she wasn't ready for the abuse.

Not a friend could help her,
they wouldn't understand,
besides they where never by her side.

SHe felt that day she lost her life,
she needed this guy,
to make things right.

But she knew he was gone,
never coming back,
so she layed down in the rain,
and wished to be washed away.
